Let me just say that you couldnt be more wrong.
Mods dont mean cheats. there are cool mods that change specific things in the game by bringing what could be a new gamemode that are pretty cool to use when playing with your frinds (notice i say when playing with your friends as in a private lobby).
Some of this mods have stuff that imo the devs should consider adding officially to the game when they have time because this would bring new gamemodes to Among Us, which would make the game more interesting.
currently the game is good and you get interested but it is always the same so you end up getting tired of it after a while.
So hacks that help you win or annoy the other players in a normal lobby, those are bad and should be banned.
Mods that bring a whole new gamemode to play between your friends is not a problems, and the devs should consder adding some of them in the game itself.
idk about you but that sounds like cheats
