This is how you change your age

If you messed up selecting your age there are two ways to change it.
The data for this is saved in %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Innersloth\Among Us\
The file is calles "Playerprefs"

Fastest way is to just delete this file.
You'd have to change your ingame options again, though.

The clean way is to edit that file (with notepad or some other editor)
At the end there will be a date (05.03.2021 for me), before that are three values for your birthday, like this: 2,1,1999 (this would be 1st of February, 1999)
Change that values and your age should be changed.

Edit: All this is for the Windows version. I don't know about other versions, I don't use them.

The folder is hidden.
If you don't see it you have to enable hidden files in your file explorer.

It will be a hidden file. In Windows 10, at the top of the window for your user folder, click "View". Over to the right you'll see an item "Hidden Items", put a tick in the box next to it. Your appdata folder should then be visible and you can follow the path to the file in question.

i know this is a horrible option but can you delete the game and then reinstall it

You open your file explorer.
There you have a bar where your current place is - it could be "quick access", "this pc" or something else.
You put "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Innersloth\Among Us\" in, like you put an adress into your web browser, and press return.

no ive tried it didnt work i even deleted the entire file and uninstalled it off steam and re installed it and still having this problem

The game folder is NOT the same folder as the configuration files, so just deleting the game won't work.
