Why do so many people hate the new update?

Personally I like the new art style (except the new "shh" screen) I personally don't mind the new colors. So I'm just wondering why people don't like it?

I hate quick chat. when meeting starts I cant tYPE, it automatically chooses quick chat so I have to click with my foocking hand on chat window. IT IS ANNOYING

Quick chat has nothing to do with this updated. Quick chat was added awhile ago.

I don't like the SHH screen, I don't like the report screen. It takes even longer to get the information we need. I already know who's dead and who reported the body and so on.

I DO like the new Vitals screen though.

I like the new vitals and meeting screens, but some of the new changes are, in simplest terms, and imo, just overall "worse" I guess. For example, the new dead body has lost all of it's humor, it doesn't really match the rest of the game, or even the characters, and is just kinda ugly. About the meeting screen, the replacement of the classic tablet and the new UI was a good choice, and I like it, but when the votes come in, the animation feels cheap and a step down from what I believe was a great animation. I like the new character shape, they seem shorter and more "squishy" (I don't really know the right word lol), and I like how the "CREWMATE 2 Imposters Among Us" screen (or whatever it says) moves the characters closer together. Overall, it would be ideal if the devs were to revert some of these bad changes, but because I doubt that will happen I'll gladly take the changes that improve the game.

I feel like emergency meeting and dead body reported new screens are bad, especially when the kill animatons are still the same.

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HATE THE NEW COLORS, How am I supposed to call people out if I don't know the names of the new colors? Imagine being a detective in among us and using people's NAMES instead of color coding.

Not sure if it's a bug or a common hack, but the issue where the initiation of a meeting sometimes causes there to be a body reported message for every single player in the server, all 10 or 15 of them is quite annoying
