Unwritten Among Us Rules that everyone should obey
1. Don't leave after the match has started, Imposter or not, dead or not Leaving the game makes it harder for your side to win
2. If you live with/are on a voice chat app with someone don't share what you know with them (i.e who killed you, who you saw vent ECT.) this spoils the fun of it for the rest of them
3.(this is more for protection than anything) don't share personal information with ANYONE, this is not a dating/hook up app its a game, that has minors playing (potentially due to mobile phones)
4. If you get caught as imposter, do not tell who isn't the second/third imposter out of frustration, even if they had to vote for you to remain unsuspicious.
5. When playing with randos do not change the game setup to be hide and seek at the last minute. Not everyone knows whats going on with that.

if anyone can think of any more put them in the comments

Wrong.

When a crewmember leaves the game, the tasks bar shortens; it doesn't make it more difficult to win. I might make it easier to lose, but the victory conditions are no less strenuous or difficult.

And if you want me to not quit when I'm dead, give me something to do after all of my tasks are finished. That is, besides watch what the other players are doing, wait for them to take forever to vote, and maybe--maybe!--have a chat with the other ghosts.

Whoopita.

Do you really wonder why people leave after they're killed?

Agreed. Anyone who pulls that crap will find a very different kind of play style going on in their game from now on.

I have a few snarky ones, but given how draconian Steam is getting with comments, and their unwillingness to separate a joke from geniune vitriol, I will be holding them back.

(@#$% you, Steam! The internet doesn't need a nanny; we can handle a few off-color words or sentiments, curse you!)

I support everything especially your last statement

I disagree with 1) - if, as crew, you encounter the glitch where a task won't activate (which I did once last week), then remaining in the game makes it impossible for crew to win. Only exiting the game allows crew to win in that situation (because exiting the game means that player's task state is no longer considered when determining whether all tasks are complete). Exiting the game should not, however, be a casual decision, as it can feel unsporting when people quit just because they are dead/the wrong role/people didn't agree with their voting decisions. (Quitting due to glitchy connections is unavoidable, and quitting after death is understandable).

The three rules I'd want to add are linked:

6) If the server doesn't say otherwise, it's regular game under regular rules and should be played - and enforced - that way.

7) If the server agrees to play a variant (be it Hide and Seek or anything else), abide by the rules of the variant, don't change or complain partway through.

8) Players joining a server playing a variant must be given ample opportunity to be filled in on the rules of the variant - and leave the server if they decide it's not for them - before play begins, otherwise that's not fair to the people joining the server last.

9) Don't hold up the vote by not voting. Don't go AFK during the vote. Don't artificially delay the game.

There'z always at least one, isn't there? You give them a reasonable amount of time being the only person who hasn't voted yet, then you tell them to vote, then you realize they're not responding...ugh.

And then when there'z more than one...!

So seriously...vote in a timely fashion, please.
