Ban for leaving game

I think there should be some kind of penalty for players who leave a game. It totally ruins the experience. Like in CSGO, when you aboandon a competitive match, you are banned, even up to a few weeks.
Please devs, put something in like that.

That is no penalty.....there should be a ban after 2 leaves. Every leave is a day penalty: so 2 days minimum

Sometimes it may not be the player's fault: their server might disconnect them at an inopportune time. It has happened to me.

This is reasonable.

5 minutes is basically a 4-year old’s time out; it doesn’t really work on adults.

2 days is ridiculous. You may as well uninstall the game if you cant leave matches without locking the game for the entire weekend.

15 is enough incentive to stay, but doesn’t prevent people from playing the game at all.

the only acceptable way to leave is to get an IRL emergency... so, once: definitely acceptable
2 is already pretty SUS...
But let's imagine you have an IRL emergency twice within a few minutes...
It's probably you'll have to handle a problem for 1hour

Or attack the problem at the source: if you leave, you'll never be Impostor until you've finished at least one game all the way to the Victory/Defeat screen.

That way, there is no benefit to leaving at all.

Simple solution:

If you leave a game, you cannot be impostor in the next.

It's fine as is, increase the time with subsequent leaves past 3, but a ban?? 2 day suspension? No way, ridiculous, sometimes you gotta just leave anyways. Peeps will always leave matches, deal w/ it, its part of playing with random people anyways. There's always uncertainties and you just deal. Make better acquaintance with those randoms so they're less likely to leave.
