The game has an FPS lock, will there be 144 fps?

turn on vsync, sounds like the opposite but the game was locked to 30 fps initially, then I turned on vsync and it locked to my monitors refresh 240 hz

No, seriously. Turn. On. Vsync.

The setting is bugged, so turning it on is the only way to uncap the framerate and get 120/144/240+ FPS.

Next (OPTIONAL; only needed if your FPS is still locked to 30/60) go into the nVidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings > Select (or add) Among Us from the dropdown and turn Vsync off from there.

Trust me, it works.
