I'd be excited for this honestly their are tons of games out there that a map maker feature would fit into like shooting games for example who wouldn't want to make their own play and testing field.

Necroposting means bringing up a very old thread that is dead therefore "necro". You typed in a thread that was posted 4 years ago lol. Its not really negative, more neutral than anything but its usually looked down upon depending on context
