The only advice I can give you is to get the beta - see that thread for details - then ideally pick either the NA or Asia server. the EU ones do work but tend to be busier/buggier than the others.
It also helps if you check out the various Steam or discord groups dedicated to finding good playing groups some run a lot of public games others host private games so you'll need to join and get the code/s.

*Note you can use down detector to check which Among Us servers are least busy to help you have better luck in getting a game without getting auto-disconnected with that "Reliable packet" or the "6 pings of doom" error msg.
