Among Us crashing upon start

Can I ask for some help here? I am going insane looking for what's the issue.

I recently bought and downloaded Among Us but when I try running the game, it keeps on crashing when trying to start up. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my PC, and checking that I'm updated on all softwares on my PC.

I don't get any error reports on what is causing the issue besides seeing this this loading pop-up: It's the icon for Among Us with "Among Us - Unity 2019.2.11f1_5f859a4cfee5" in the pop-up's labeling. Immediately after, my screen blacks out to load the game before I quickly get notified that Among Us won't run.

I thought it might be because I don't have resources and/or files that Unity has, so I downloaded Unity Editor 2019.2.11 to see if can repair/patch anything I'm lacking. (This sort of thing happened when I tried playing any RPGMaker games, fixed it by downloading RPGMarker). Didn't work.

I've been scratching my head on what could be the issue. I highly doubt it's my PC. Sure, it's not high end stuff but I can run Nier on this thing with low settings. And running all the other games I have in my steam library, only Among Us is acting this way. I heard that Among Us had a recent update? Either way, I have no clue what I'm doing wrong. Quarantine is already driving me crazy, I don't need this game to add onto it.

Do you have antivirus? Avast is especially bad about stealing Among Us files.

No, I only have the default Windows Defenders on my laptop. I turned it off to see if that was the issue before running the game and also redownloaded Among Us on chance that Defender prevented certain files from properly installing. Neither tactics worked and it just crashed upon start just like all the other times.

Nope. Still struggling and trying different tactics to fix the issue. All tactics I used haven't work so far and I'm going crazy still. For those curious as to what I'm doing, here's a list of things I tried and didn't work so far.
-Verifying the integrity of my game files (Go to your steam library then right click the game giving you problems. Click properties then go to game files. Then you'll see the verifying integrity of game file): Didn't work.
-Update every single thing on my computer... the windows version, my drivers, DirectX, etc. EVERYTHING.: Didn't work.
- Change my battery settings to high performance: Didn't work.
- Run the game in compatibility mode: Didn't work
- Run the game as administrator: Didn't work

I'm am dying.

I don't know if I did wrong but it didn't work what you said, I don't know if there is a solution but with a few hours of gameplay it has already given me a good experience.
