How does Local multiplayer work??? (Thinking about buying)
I was wondering how the local multiplayer or remote play would work on this game since I would be able to see everyone's screen and it would defeat the point because as soon as the imposter kills someone we would all be able to see. If it does not work this way I would appreciate it if someone informed me on how it actually does work. I'm considering buying the game so my friends and I can play but they won't all buy it so I thought it would be great to remote play with them.

Local multiplayer works by having everyone join the same wifi. Each player uses their own device. We also have a F2P mobile version with ads and fewer cosmetics so people don't *have* to buy the PC version. There is crossplay between PC and mobile.

So it is actually a LAN mode? Every player needs a copy of the game? At first I thought by buying the PC version I could open a game and people would use their smartphones as a controller kinda like game share works on Nintendo DS for example but it seems every device is more or less independent from each other.

Just downloaded the mobile version on my phone to test out with my PC version. Can't play due to not being the same version. Welp too much trouble getting this to work so I think I'm going to refund.

Still not clear to me how this works in wi-fi mode.
So if I understand correctly PC player hosts a game and Android and iOS players download an app and join the game on the WiFi.

Do phone and tablet players get ads when playing in this mode???
Read somewhere that Steam version includes all hats and skins. Do phone players also have access to all hats and skins in this mode?

Well the game description says "Split/Shared screen", doesn't it? Please get it fixed.

I nearly bought the game today because it said it had split screen. I'm glad I looked twice. The game still looks interesting, but I'm much, much less likely to buy it now that I see that the developer has known for a while that it's tagged wrong and hasn't fixed it. It makes me feel like the dev doesn't care and makes me wonder what else is wrong with this game that they just don't care to fix. Maybe that's not the case, but it's the impression this issue gives.

You can play splitscreen too, but you'll need to either open 2 instances manually and use something like Universal Splitscreen to split the input, or you can use a script I made for NucleusCoop which does it automatically for you.

It's really easy to use, I have a short showcase video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmvmh_ITPYY&ab_channel=Snailedlt.

If I get to a 1000 views I'll post a tutorial for setting it up.
