Penalty for leaving the game at the start

Currently, many people leave the game if they don't get the Impostor. This can be very annoying. Should there be a temporary penalty to discourage people leaving like this?

You could add a game cooldown. If you leave a game, you can't enter another one for 4 minutes

My thought was to make it so you have to sit through the length of the game whether you played it or not. That way there's no incentive to leave early. But I wouldn't be sad if a 10 minute cool down was implemented. For my first few days of playing, I thought the player leaving sound was just one of the round start sounds because it literally happens every game.

I think it is a biggest game problem. Even 2 minutes penalty would be enough, cause games are going pretty much quick. Or just remove disconnect button, like in deceit or HOTS.

If you leave too early, and if you have a good reason why, there's no reason to get punished for such a thing. Though, every game, I see people leaving suddenly, over and over again, and they join different games, and quit again. I see no point in doing this, and would very like to have a penalty, but maybe give someone a penalty after leaving too many games. It wouldn't be fair if you got kicked out early in some server by a jerky owner, and got a penalty for leaving so early and so soon. Then you'd have to wait to PLAY.

I would hope there would be no punishment if you got kicked. It's only if you leave the game and immediately start searching again. I really think making that person wait the length of the game or the length of an average game is a good idea to stop people from doing it

Well I actually tested this earlier, I joined a bunch of games and left. Got a 5 minute lock out the first time and then a 10 minute lock out the next. I didn't want to keep going just in case

Game is basically unplayable. I've been trying to have a decent match with a friend of mine for the past 2 hours. Every match that begins at least 4 out of 10 people leave because they did not get impostor. It's to a point I can't even enjoy the game neither as Crewmate or Impostor because everyone else just leaves when the match begins. Just for the love of any god you worship do something about this or people will simply get fed up and stop playing the game altogether.
