For Example: Mortal Kombat works perfectly fine instantly with the PS4 Controller
As far as I remember Sony said it uses Directinput.
The xinput wrapper I use seems to make the game run incredibly slowly, unfortunately.
I mean it would be a nice gimmick, but seriously, if i was talking about how my Wii U pad doesnt get "plug-and-play" support and make it look like i was pissed people wouldnt take me seriously either.
Actually they made a standardized API for controllers that should work with any controller and is freely available. DS4 meets this standard and works in many games with out problem.
Keep in mind that the DS4 uses direct input which is a standard Microsoft API that has been around since before dev of this game started fyi
Directinput used to be the standard, until Microsoft suddenly forced Xinput upon us.
Why not both?
Ask the different developers who only bother supporting Xinput.
