I remember looking at a game maybe about a year ago that was possibly local co-op only. It was a side-scroller except you travelled vertically. No Idea what it was called though and I can't seem to find it. Anybody know what it could be?
BroForce
Samurai Gunn
Rush Bros (1-2 players, it's ok)
Shank (1-2 players, fun, but you need a bigger screen to see what's going on)
Samurai Gunn
-Speedrunners
-Lethal League
-Starwhal: Just The Tip
-Battleblock Theater (2 player co-op and 4 player comp)
-Any of the Worms games (don't overlook the classics, these games are still really fun)
-Divekick
Better playability than Nidhogg and no problems/bugs, unlike in Nidhogg.
* Crawl (great, but already mentioned above)
* Cortex Command
* Crypt of the Necrodancer (though a bit hard to navigate in co-op, but fun)
* Jamestown (might be the vertical scroller you mentioned)
* Hammerfight(not Hammerwatch!)
May be worth checking:
* Spelunky
* Fighting games like MK X, DoA5, Skullgirls
* Resident Evil 6 (got splitscreen, Dynasty Warriors too, if I'm not mistaken)
* BO Isaac Rebirth (never played myself though)
Some kind of co-op that seems to be a mess currently:
* Nuclear Throne (unlike the game, very buggy and in early stages, but existant)
* Project Zomboid(maybe it got improved, but it's not that much of hotseat game)
* Overgrowth (in early stages, seems to be working well, but the game is rather raw, however there is a versus mode and level editor, can't recommend much yet, game idea is brilliant though)
Might update if remember more =)
Wonder that too, wish I picked this game today instead grabbing full price back then.
