So, this isn't even a full or completed game. It's been abandoned by the dev, who over the years has demonstrated absolute incompetency when it comes to game design beyond the basic book examples from dummies guides with unity.

Story is unfinished, unpolished, and janky.
Controls are janky and very unpolished and unintuitive.
Graphics are extremely sub par.

Basically, this game looks like some one picked up a how to design a game in unity book, bought some assets, and then proceeded to spend a week or less of crunch time putting it all together and then begged people for money with the promise of finishing it but never had any intention or ability of doing so. The dev has even put up an announcement of abandoning this piece of . . .ehm. . .work, all while promising a new game which is in production. Now, don't miss the hash tag of please support me/ send me money/ and no promises of any completion or actual work being done.

My sincere suggestion is to avoid this dev, or follow and give them money at your own risk.

Even though I’ve only played Monster Girl Island: Prologue for about 23 minutes, it’s already clear that this game doesn’t take itself too seriously — and that’s part of the fun. The world is colorful, the character designs are unique, and there’s a definite charm to the quirky dialogue and interactions.

The story starts off with a good amount of mystery and humor, which makes it easy to get drawn in early on. The visuals are surprisingly polished for a prologue, and the characters you meet right away hint at a lot more weird and fun encounters to come.

It’s definitely not a game for everyone, but if you’re into offbeat adventures with a touch of fanservice and humor, Monster Girl Island: Prologue seems like a fun ride so far. I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes from here.
