Sleeping powder
The red / blue petals burn completely and using violet petals doesn't make him want to put the mixture to the tea.

Wat do?

Same result:I do as the book says and add all ingredients to the beaker. If I click on it is says ' The beaker contains cactus sap, Dormicum powder, Erimin powder, dried blue petals and dried red petals. When I try to put this in the tea pot I'm told ' I don't want to pour things into the tea unless I'm positive it will knock them out.' I've restarted twice. Is there anything I'm doing wrong?

You should have made powder out of the dried petals before putting them into the beaker.

You are a genius. I can't believe I didn't notice the words in brackets...Duh.

My recipe seems to differ from everything I read so far:

2 fresh petals from Opuntia L. (powderized) <- color missing? <- can't powderize FRESH petals
3 dried red petals from Fidicus (powderized)
Button from Lophophargo Vulgaris
1 pill each of Nimetozepam (Erimin) & Midazolam (Dormicum)<-impossible to select single pills

I have no clue how to put these ingredients together, as there seems to be no way to select multiple petals or single pills. Furthermore, it is not possible to powderize FRESH petals, as the recipe states!
Any hints??
Thanks in advance :morton:

AH, MY BAD.. thank you!
In German there is a saying which states: "Read first, then ask."

I more or less found out by accident where the correct recipe is hidden. ;)

Yea, me too. First I thought oops, and then I realized that this is intended that way.

Hey everyone. I need some help finding ingredients. I figured out the Dormicum, and all the petals I need. I can't figure out where to find lophoria vulgaris, though, and I also have no idea where the Erimin is. If it has anything to do with the door code in the notebook, could I maybe have a hint about which particular door it is? Thanks a ton.
MaxDZ8 12 JUL 2015 a las 9:28
Well Fishlarva, there's a door hiding something important. You can find the solution in the notebook and hints in previous pages of this discussion.

I'm stuck in making the sleeping powder. I think I have difficulty understanding the language used by Morton to encode the ingredients. My recipe reads:

* A few yellow | onions
* A few | tomatoes
* Sap from | maple tree
* Crush | a clove of garlic
* || add some water

I've been putting almost two hours in preparations so far with no success. I last tried two:

* yellow petals
* red petals
* sap from root
* dried and crushed white petals
* adding water didn't make anything special happen

I've also tried putting the preparation in the teapot in advance, assuming the last added water would have been sufficient. Nope.

Then I tried replacing the white petals with Dormicum, which I noticed to be white. Nothing happened. I haven't tried putting this is the teapot.

Right now I'm thinking about replacing red petals with Erimin, which I observed to be reddish but I am going by trial and error at this point and so far interpretation of the clues never posed any problem. Any extra hint?

After looking at a youtube video I figured out what to do.

Let me tell you I did notice those vertical marks in advance but I never considered this to be an option mostly because interacting with books is extremely painful on my system. I have difficulty finding the hotspot to turn pages, let alone this.
coneynew 8 ENE 2016 a las 11:22
Without given any solutions, once you realize you can tear a page from the book, the answer reviews itself. I discovered this by error.
maxmatt 2 AGO 2016 a las 2:39
where do I find the Nimetozepam pills and the cactus sap? I have everything else crushed and ready to mix.

*EDIT* Never mind I've found them.

Ok. I was enjoying the puzzles until this one. How on earth were we supposed to know we could tear a page? The interface when examining books is touchy and very slow for me. I would never have known I could do this without some kind of outside help

EDIT - Ok in looking at other threads its an FPS thing. Because it is so low in some scenes (books) the animations don't work correctly. If it had been smooth I'd probably have noticed it

I'm looking into the FPS book problem right now. The font outlline gets re-rasterized on every frame, which is causing frame drop problems. I'm working on a solution right now.

If I remember correctly there's also a dashed line going down the page as a hint.
