The red / blue petals burn completely and using violet petals doesn't make him want to put the mixture to the tea.

OK, there are three things in the book. The two recipes and the door code. I found the code (loved that one :D) and now have all the ingredients. I am however uncleas as to the preparation of the sleeping powder. I dried and crushed blue and yellow and also poured some cactus sap in my beaker. Now it holds these three things and I think I'm supposed to crush them together but nothing I try lets me do just that. Any hints? Or should I just focus on making the fertilizer first?

I have all ingredients and I understand I must make some sleeping powder AND some fertilizer as well. Trouble is, I crush the blue, I crush the yellow, I stick the cactus juice all in the beaker and then...NOTHING. I can't grind it into paste or heat it or boil it or anything else. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I dont believe you are supposed to make both recipes. The answer lies somewhere in between.

I have a much sillier problem than that though. How do I dry the petels? I can't figure out out how to use the burner. All I have is a pot and a beaker, and they don't work with it. Am I supposed to be able to pick up the tea pot?

EDIT: I just missed the lighter. I forgot how hard point and click games were for me :P

You put the petals you wish to dry on the spoon. Then you click the spoon, hold it over the fire. You'll see puffs of white smoke come out once you have the right position. Once the puffs stop, quickly remove the spoon from the fire, take the petals, put them in the mortar and crush them. Also, thanks on the "only one recipe bit", I'll give it a go like that!

I'm still completely lost on the recipe mind you. Can someone tell me what i need to mix? I have cactus sap, both types of pills and all them different colored petals.

i am assuming I have to get sap from the violet petals. I have dried the yellow and blue and crushed them, as well as crushing the pills. Stuck on getting the sap. and then I'll be stuck I suppose on what to do then!!!!!!!

SPOILERS : To get the powder, put the following things in your beaker : dried and crushed BLUE and YELLOW petals, crushed PILL 1 and crushed PILL 2 (you grind them in the mortar and pestle) and also some cactus juice. FINALLY ;)
