There's no release date yet unfortunately.
This is the current state:
The game is progressing good. The technical side is robust, the framework and our tools have most features now that we need, and the gameplay and usability have been improved since Early Access.
I can personally focus on the story, world building and content now. I have been occupied with that in the last months, actually. That hasn't lead to more playable content recently, but it will do so later this year.
Is it safe to say then that there won't be any major changes to the combat system?
Is there anything specific you would like to see improved?
I've only played the day 1 version of EA when the game initially released, so I only got a picture of the early game. Are there plans to have an animal companion "build" where you mostly let minions fight for you? The idea behind having flesh pets was interesting.
