How Finished is the Game?

Hey all, I already bought the game because I'm confident it'll turn out great. However, I haven't started playing yet because I want to wait until its finished for the full experience. How close to finished is the game at this point?

Hard to say where we are exactly. We made great progress on some aspects of the game, not so fast progress on other aspects. It's still far from being finished.

I paid my fee and I figure by next year I might get to play what could be an instant classic.

If 1.0 is the same quality but more -ahem- flesh'd out I think it will have been well worth the wait.

tbh dev take your time. I just want it to actually get finished.

Gems are like these definitely should be supported, so I'd say to wait until you get a better experience out of what you're supporting.

I had a similar take on Crosscode and was so happy I waited to play, bug free and content ready.

i completed the alpha and its amazing. but i went cyborg with the heiarch and no i can only use one gun, the cyborg slug thrower. it wont let me change my weapon now..anyone know how i can get rid of it?

Hey, thanks for the response! I think I'll hold off for now, but I will be eagerly awaiting the full release.

I hope this is far from finished. I really enjoy the map, the atmosphere, and the story and hope that there is a lot more to come.

i would say 50% finished, dissapointed at the slow progress. At this point the game might turn out great, a real soulslike rpg or a very boring game. It seems the problem is that the enemies dont have enough mechanics to counter the player and the player doesnt even have all his skills or stats yet. The story is nice but too many locations are emtpy

There is no new content in the sense of being more game to play. It's still 4-5 hour then boom sorry you've gone as far you can. but hey, better sound effects n stuff after 7 months.

Even for early access it had very little content for the price. Actually, the least amount of content I've every experienced in an early access game. 7 months later, still working on the 4 hours of content from release. It'll be years at this rate. .

I think it is one guy working on it. Kenshi took like what, 13 years to make? But that was a sandbox rpg with heavy modding...
