Colt Canyon
Making the dog invincible would be much appreciated
I choose Jim entirely because of the dog, even if its relatively not useful compared to other character bonuses. But to have the dog die because he gets downed while im fighting a boss is quite annoying.

Hello,
while the boss is still alive you do not really have to worry about reviving your companions, including your dog. As long as you go revive them immediatly after defeating the boss they are not going to bleed out.

So if you experienced your dog bleeding out and permanently die during a boss fight then this would be a bug. Can you confirm that he bled out during the boss fight and not just get knocked out?

I should have specified that I mean bleeding out in general, the last time it happened was while I was fighting a miniboss.

It's annoying that the biggest bonus of playing Jim can be lost for a whole run, removing most of the purpose of playing jim.

I see what you mean. However, the dog is mostly there to make the early game easier, since as you notice Jim is not the best otherwise. With his dog he is quite powerful in early game though anyway. For late game with some upgrades and stronger weapons you do not really need the dog anymore but I get why you would want to keep him. You gotta look out for your dog.
Making him never bleed out feels overpowered, but I will consider reducing his bleed out rate.
Thanks for the feedback
