Lost all crafting material after game crashed. My use of the Saw Launcher VT too has been 'disabled'.

After a point in time the game crashed and upon restarting it, All my inventory weapons were gone and in game crafting material was back to 0.
I also noticed that I can no longer use the Saw Gun VT. It has the disabled icon on the weapon whee. Can someone redirect me to a solution?

sounds like you now have a corrupted save file after your system crashed

Save Game Locations for Far Cry New Dawn:
Play PC. C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegame\<UplayID>\5210.
Steam. C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegame\<UplayID>\5211.

see those folders ..5211 would be for a steam version

Tried, resetting as per the instructions on both forums.
Restoring the save file did not restore the materials.
Also, I'm unable to remove or replace the saw launcher VT from the 2nd weapon wheel slot.
Tried everything.
