Hey there.
Is the error "Unable to authenticate ownership of this product"?
If so this error is usually because you're launching the game whilst signed in to this Ubisoft account where the game hasn't been activated.
Are you aware of any other Ubisoft accounts you own? If so I would recommend signing in on those and trying again. When you're on the correct account you will no longer see this error.
If you're not sure of any other accounts you have if you can send through a screenshot from the following folders, please. By default they will be found at the paths below, you might have one or sometimes both of these folders:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache\user_profile
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache\ownership
Thanks.

I'm sure this will help a lurker if they're having the same issue. :)

Are you getting the same error when you launch it through the Steam client?

sorry for my bad writing and english it is not my first language
The first thing we'd advise is verifying the game files. This will check for missing or corrupt files and replace them, which you can do through the steps in the guide here
We would also advise ensuring that Steam and the game are running with administration rights via the steps in the guide here[support.ubisoft.com]

Thank you for your time.
Please make sure AFTER you have installed your game
go to https://ubisoftconnect.com/ and install the updated version of UBI CONNECT / Steam does not provide this with the game files on games that shipped more then 1 month ago as yes they do UPDATE UBI CONNECT QUITE OFTEN \and yes steam may install an out dated version .
see

ALWAYS
make sure you back up your save files MANUALLY if you have other ubi titles installed
go here to see how
https://www.ubisoft.com/en-gb/help/connectivity-and-performance/article/manually-backing-up-ubisoft-connect-pc-save-files/000063179
or use a save game file manager program like this one
https://www.gamesave-manager.com/
Also ALWAYS run STEAM as well as UBI CONNECT and your game with ADMINISRATOR RIGHTS ENABLED
see this page https://www.ubisoft.com/en-us/help/connectivity-and-performance/article/run-applications-with-administrator-rights/000060505
verify your game files
see
https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335
..as well as RESTART your PC , <(ALWAYS REBOOT) relaunch STEAM and UBI Connect and try your game again.
Good luck , i hope you found your fix!
