Cd Key...??

When I click play it opens ubisoft connect and it just asks for a activation key? I check my properties already and I have not "cdkey" option. I've tried running as admin restarting n all that stuff. Can I get some help please ;( (I also bought fc5 and im gonna assume its gonna do the same exact thing.

yes, I own rainbow six and I also have uno lol they both work.

I had this issue when I opened far cry 5 for the first time so I just closed everything and logged in on ubisoft connect first, then opened the game again and it worked, so pretty simple but who knows

yeah I already tried logging out tho, I mean I can try again but I doubt it'll work.

for now im refunding both games and ill buy em again to see if thatll fix my issue

Contact ubisoft support and see what they say. You should be able to also see your games in ubisoft connect. It will be marked as a Steam game in your ubisoft library. You can even launch them from there.

it's not there. I've been linked to this steam account for 5 years and I have no other ubisoft account. I have rainbow 6 and uno both launch fine.

oh and I've contacted ubisoft support now, I'm guessing it's going to take forever to respond lol .

I never managed to fix it, I contacted ubisoft and they still haven't fixed my issue, it took them like 2 weeks to respond and on top of that they got 3 agents to ask the same questions to show proof of purchase blah blah blah all basic stuff just to leave without resolving the issue lol...I have yet to see them help me with the issue so I ended just buying it on ubisoft launcher never again will I buy a ubisoft game on steam.
