What's the point of stealth in this game?

Stealth is very cool and all, and you get an ethanol bonus for being stealthy, but... enemies tier 2 and above simply can't be killed with stealth weapons quick enough to prevent them from sounding the alarm. WTF do you do then?

Also, why do sniper rifles suck ass?

yeah about the only way to stealth tier 2 and above is Takedowns but by then your close to end of game

other best way is headshots mulitple time very fast to break the mask so they take the damage or back of the head if dont have full masks but its rough getting it done with the available weapons at the time

plus explosives but you have to move to another location before they find you quick

I use stealth on all tiers. As long as you get them from behind, their yours. You can level up the weapons, as well.

Fire bullets and armour piercing make for a handy sniper rifle. I like it! Stealth Scmealth.. just get in there and kill! oh and take horatio.

Just grab the FCND Scavenger mod-5-4-13 (what ever is the latest) mod. Makes stealth relevant again. And lots of other fixes and (optional) tweaks.

I take out entire camps in stealth using the Blood Dragon pistol (upgraded like 20 times) and armour piercing bullets. One shot to the head kills any enemy, even Elites.

Let me introduce you to the Bow. It kills everything with a headshot.

Tier 4 sniper plus armor piercing rounds kill everything in 1 head shot.
