:-( Ubisoft not sending email verification code so can't start game :-(

Never had Ubisoft acct or earlier Far Cry games on this or any pc. 70-90% off Steam sale got me to pay & download package of New Dawn + Far Cry Gold full package & surprise I also got Far Cry 3. Maybe Steam &/or Ubisoft bonus. Since reading other posts that older games install older Ubisoft that may not work or update after newer games installed, I did newest, New Dawn install & run 1st. Running New Dawn gets Ubisoft Connect app asking to log in or create new acct. Creating new acct syas enter verification code sent to email address. It does not come. At least not after 2 hrs so far. I see others here with same problem in past. What the hell Steam & Ubisoft !! :-( BEWARE ALL YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY these Far Cry or other Ubisoft games since they seem to have major system disruption. So tempting as the huge discounts are, may be total waste of money. Might Steam reimburse this cost ?? Anyone know for sure if how this can be fixed ?? I tried going online with browser to Ubisoft to create acct that way. Same problem. No verification email gets sent. I used usual email address with my local server. Might it be better to use a gmail address or outlook address ?? 🤔🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️😡
EDIT ADD SOLVED = trying 1 of my gmail addresses worked immediately. ✌️👍☮️😉
