Game crashing monitors and whole pc

this game wont launch and now keeps crashing my monitors and my whole pc JUST because it had HDR mode enabled by default so i turned it off since my monitor looks bad with it and the game now keeps bricking my pc

While I am sure you mean something else, a game will not crash your monitors, it might be trying to do something your monitors cannot do of course (like you can loose signal if its trying a resolution.refresh your monitor cannot handle).

Also if you whole pc is locking up. That is also a little worrying, it obviously should not. Are other games doing this?

I would do a verify your install incase there are any damaged game files, if its not finding any errors, try a full reinstall of the game.

If still having problems, I would fully uninstall your video drivers (use something like DDU). Then do a new install of your graphic drivers. (do not just update drivers, sometimes updates do not go on properly, its very rare, but best rule it out and does not take too much longer to fully uninstall and reinstall).

idk how or why BUT when i disabled the HDR ingame (no clue why its the default option on) my monitors literally just shut off and then my pc restarted. i have never had a game while turning off hdr mode shut down the whole pc
