maybe im asking wrong......does the game ramp up difficulty because 2 players are present.....like does it add more and frequent spawning enemies to the map?

I ask specifically for the expeditions because i want to do coop on them but i can beat them by myself on hardest difficulty in single play......2 people wont be a challenge at all
