Bookworm Disconnect COOP

Anyone else got this annoying error? How to fix it?

Basically happens after a few seconds of joining OR inviting a friend to COOP. He would Bookworm error out or I would bookworm error out.

I googled it, and it says for FC5 it was mostly a player-side issue. I can hardly believe it, since I never had this error at all in FC5 in over 30 hours of COOP with exact same friend? Nothing in our PC or Network configuration changed.

It still does not work. I tried forwarding FC5 ports, but that did not change anything. I also verified local files. What to do?

Me in Asia, my friend in Europe. It seems to be a high-ping auto kick. Totally unnecessary for a COOP game. FC5 and FC3 worked beautifully, we did not mind the slight lag since it's not a competitive shooter. Please fix this as soon as you can, as we're not touching the otherwise nice-looking game until we can play it together.

Yeah hoping this gets fixed before the 2week mark from when I bought the game, really enjoyed FC5 co-op and just from the bit of the game before co-op's unlocked it was fun but I only have interest in playing with my friend because we played the last game together and if I can't I'm gonna refund until this is fixed then buy it again.

Given I'm experiencing the exact same issue almost 2 years later I'd say ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ not.

I am happy to report I resolved the issue - by ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ relocating back to my homecountry and playing with a low ping.

Ubisoft definitely deserves all the ♥♥♥♥ and torrenting imaginable for ignoring this easy to fix issue.
