Um.. where? I right-clicked on the game, and checked DLC list and there's nothing there. Going to restart steam and see if that helps.

Edit: I restarted, and nothing. There's no HD Texture pack available. Please confirm that the issue is fixed.

Edit 2: I found it. Go to Far Cry: New Dawn Store page. Scroll down and there should be a small line under the purchase option to download the HD texture DLC for free.

Just going to say that a game company that needs to have a separate store page for their "HD texture pack" is pretty... garbagey and unprofessional.

I'm highly doubtful that you're game is so huge that your own textures don't fit in the full game pack on the steam servers. Like seriously.

Gta5 is all in one pack, DOOM (2016) is all in one pack. Star citizen, a trash heap of its own accord is still all in one pack.

What makes these textures so special that they needed their own page?

Further more, just because it's free doesn't mean you aren't trying to set the foundation to one day start charging people for 4k textures that should have come with the game itself.

Mimimimimi from a user that doesn't even own the game? If you're here just to spread negative vibes, please leave.

HD texture packs are for people who have gfx cards that can handle them. No need to bloat the download of people who won't run the HD textures. Recent crysis games also did this. It's a nice option and additional offering for developers to cater to PC gaming.

what r u smoking dude???

HD Textures are 20 GB in size, why to force downloading it for everyone if not all people have the hardware to handle it???

there are far too many ppl with avg hardware and internet bandwidth, plus a waste of disk space when these textures are not used.

so you were saying???

The texture pack itself is almost as large as the base game. Such packs are often designed for people with 6-8GB VRAM. A lot of users don't have the VRAM for such a pack, and as such have no need to download such a huge package. Instead of forcing everyone to download the pack, they make it optional.

The HD-pack is beautiful! Thank you developers for creating such a great game. FC New Dawn Rulez!

J'ai téléchargé le jeu, joué pendant une demi-heure et l'ai supprimé.

Do they make a big difference. Are they worth the extra 25-30GB. Is the FPS heavily effected. I have a GTX 1080ti. It has 11GB VRam so thats not a problem. Just wondering if there worth it.

The fact that they make such things and optional download is a real good thing. Imagine downloading a 40 GB game . And you dont even use half of the assets. Waste of space and waste of time.

yep they are worth it especially if u are playing on 1440p/4K, at 1080p you might not notice a big difference.

fps takes no hit, vram is the bottleneck, so since you got 11GB, it wont be a problem, i got 1080Ti as well and no performance hits from it.

why does steam keep re-downloading it and putting it on a hard drive the game isn't even installed to?
