Can I give Ethanol to Co-Op teammate?

We need to upgrade our base and my friend who is party leader is the only one who can use ethanol, it won'pt allow me to do it, is there a way for me to give him my ethanol?

Technically.
If you joined him then it's his base your upgrading and thus his resources are being used.
If you then load your save without joining him or he joins you it's your base and thus your resources being used.

So in short.
No, you can't share resources. They are individual.
