Easiest Outpost to Farm PP and Ethanol?
I have a few I think are fairly easy, but was wondering if anyone had figured out which is the quickest and easiest to farm for Perks Points and Ethanol?

For my style of play - Refinery. That’s because it has one of, if not the smallest, footprints of all outposts. You can circle round it with Timber and he’ll flag almost all enemies. The two elites are out in the open at the start and close enough to the perimeter to be taken out with a bow. There’s higher ground on two sides to snipe from and the random alarm locations are mostly sited so the controls are exposed for sniping from the perimeter. Also, no guard dogs.

I will have to check it out, it might be the same one I was thinking of.

If it’s not clear, my strategy is to go for no alarms. The desire is to be undetected to get max ethanol and I get that 50% of the time. You only lose 75 ethanol if you are detected with the alarms disabled, while you lose 150 if the alarms go off. On a rare occasion that an alarm is tripped before I’ve disabled it, I’ll hit esc and reload the last checkpoint which restarts the outpost takeover. It’s generally faster than having to ward off all of the reinforcements, saves ammo and health, and gives you more ethanol.

I'll run around to a few and try to figure out which i think is easiest :) i find that no alarms seems to take more time then it's worth or at least with 3 star outposts

I’m on my second play through and am working on raising weapons upgrades and perk levels to unreal levels. My two main weapons have been upgraded over 70 times each as has the kick/punch perk. That means I’ve got ridiculous experience at Refinery and have the layout and enemy positions fully memorized. I even know all of the alarm positions for which there are about a half dozen, even though no more than three are active at a time.

This means I can have both elites and all alarms taken down in around 60 seconds from outside the outpost. Total takeover time is less than five minutes.

Refinery certainly isn’t the only place you can do this. Find an outpost that fits your play style and and repeat to the point that you’ve memorized it. That’s kind of the whole point of farming.

That really isn't the whole point to farming, the whole point is to get the goods as quickly as possible over and over and sure having it memorized will help, it is not needed. There are outposts that will be quicker than others so it isn't a matter of finding one to match play style, it is a matter of which is easiest to complete in the shortest amount of time.

My bad. It’s called Refinery and not Distillery. I’ve edited my posts to correct my error.

oh man i hate that one one of my least faves so far... I had found the chop shop to be better for myself, to be noted though i have been going in blasting em all real fast with a combo of wrath and LMG

Still testing for best farming for myself heck maybe i'll have to start going no alarms once i've found my spot

Yeah, I’ve got to grant you that. I personally find farming reaches maximum efficiency through optimized, memorized and repeated actions. That may not work for some.

I found the water treatment plant base (I think it is called the watering hole" to be good as it has good high ground vantage points surrounding it with a lot of unobstructed sight lines to the enemies.

ditto I take Horatio and snipe any high up and micro direct Horatio when needed, but usually he takes out everything on ground and any on ramp access levels

Broken Forge is the easiest for myself and can do it with no alarms using the stealth perk Trailer Town seems to be the most difficult due to the fact there's a lot of bomb dogs there... :)

I havn't been to all outposts yet but from what I seen so far the signal outpost is the easiest cause it has a bunch of grapple hooks above and you can just snipe enemies with a silenced gun from a high place
