Starting the game over is ridiculous, particularly when many hours have been put into it already.
A long time ago, when I was still in the workforce programming, any problems with existing software that customers had were worked on immediately. It seems this problem has been around for a long time now.
If I had let any problem exist for so long, even for a few days, I would have been fired.
Understandably, no software is ever perfect. But when the customer complains, an immediate response should follow. In this case, many customers have complained.
Promises of a fix are now stale. I suppose Ubisoft is too busy with other software that they are looking to market to bother with existing stuff.
