He's talking about the AI that controls your companions.
The hog is the best IMO, he heals himself so you don't waste time baby sitting him. He's a bulldozer with everything else and a great distraction.
I generally use the animal based companions in games, just cause I get tired of hearing others repeat the same dialogs all the time when they go around with me
Hurk blowing up ethanol trucks you want to capture in early game before you farm tier 3 outposts are the worst.
I agree the AI needs work, though. I sometimes have to wait a while for her to figure out she can't shoot through a rock.
Lol Horatio with outposts is awesome too, ya hide in the grass, and direct him to attack the enemies, and he will most of time take out the entire outpost and get ya the undetected bonus when its completed, don't even have to disable the alarms either
The only acception is horatio can't reach the ones on top of buildings which my silenced gun will easily take care of to finish them off
I prefer archery whenever possible for the majority of the game. I never take a companion along with me as I enjoy stealth, and always take out the alarms for a better reward. I do agree that the AI is still not much of a challenge. That was one of my complaints with FC5 even after they updated it. Just too easy.
