Co-op special perk issue

Been going coop all way, the host got access to the special perks, meanwhile i as "guest" did not.
Is this intended that the guests does not get these and are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for rest of the game stuck with the normal perks, or is it just a bug?

What do you mean by special perks the only thing the host can have access to that the guest can’t is fast travel and choosing missions as well as some other things I may have missed

I think he refers to the perks granted by the story mission of Joseph Seed. Since in coop only the host gets the story progression you have to earn it for yourself too in your playtrough. Happened with me too, had to redo the whole boat-sightseeing again.

i have it no matter what coop progress my friends are on and its the same with my other friends if they have it they can use it on other peoples games regardless of progress

Were a good 15h into the game, so if i want the special perks i need to do all the story missions again, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ solo to have fun like my friend now has with new special perks?
Does ubisoft not know that ppl play far cry co-op and maybe have both ppl get all the fun??

i can rush you to the mission cause iv beaten the game 2 times already and its not that hard for me to carry someone to that point so they can have it for themself

Just encountered the same issue. Friend got the special perks and I didn't. DO NOT RECOMMEND PLAYING THE GAME IF YOU'RE DOING CO-OP. Game is hardly fun anyways, play Far Cry 5
