Hey,
Co-Op will function the same in New Dawn as it did in Far Cry 5, there is no online versus multiplayer or a map editor in New Dawn.

Thanks for posting this ZDuB!
Yeah we have been told that co-op will function as it did in Far Cry 5, so story progress will be saved on the host's profile.

This gets complicated when you consider that a single player can be a drop-in guest for many different hosts.
What if, for instance, a guest who's fairly early in a game joins in a host who's already completely done with the early game and the two of them complete late-game quests?
This is the one thing that is annoying about the Farcry series. If I am not the host I really don't want to go back and grind though all I already have been through while playing online. There really should be an option on the host to enable the way it works in all the prior Farcry or the way it works in Wildlands. That way you have a choice for those who rarely play coop with the same people and for those of us who only play the entire game coop with same people.
Especially since the game practically screams multiplayer with the feature character being two twins.
