Prophecy - investigate the beams - what keystroke holds up the amulet?

This is probably a dumb question, and I fully expect to be raked over the coals for it, but I cannot figure out what the command (keystroke) is to "hold up the amulet." I've carefully tried every key on my keyboard with no luck. I have also checked the key mapping, and there does not seem to be a mapping for holding up the amulet.

Any help oferred will be appreciated, especially if it is offered sans snark...

It is Z! Thanks! I had tried it before and just got the binocs... I now know you have to be in the right spot for Z to bring up the amulet. Cool! I can now proceed! :-)

Didn't instruction, "Z to hold up amulet" show up on screen during the mission?

For anyone with a german keyboard it's y
