Can't change key binding of Binocular "toggle interface", and can't remap enter/exit Helicopter

My friend said that you can't change the toggle button. He uses EDSF to move around, so he had to re-bind his keys to this. Well, now whenever he moves around while using the binoculars, he keeps toggling the interface when he doesn't want to.

Saw nowhere in the key bindings to change this.

I want to be able to change this if I'm going to get this game. Thanks.

Wanted to add this: If you remap the helicopter enter/exit, it doesn't work.

If that's the case, there's Little choice but to go with the default and adapt to using another key.

I've had other games that simply will not rebind to my preferred keys ( even editing game files ) ~ annoying for sure, but not so much that it cannot be played.

Binocs go to left of arrows 4 for me and enter heli I've got it on del or enter can't remember off hand.

I don't understand.. what about binoculars? I mean, you can't change the "E" key on them that's used to toggle while using, right?

I don't understand why the bindings are acting so stubbornly.

I use all the same custom binds in ND as FC5 ( keeps it simple ). The only ones that put up a fight were two " F " keys I use for ammo type and rate of fire.

As far as binocs, I use the " Page down " key and " Enter " for interact.

Absolutely. I remap binoculars to " Page down " and " zoom " to the scroll wheel ~ I do the same for every game.

How did you remap the "toggle interface" portion of the binoculars? I don't see an option.

Also, do you know about the helicopter glitch where you can't remap the enter/exit button?

You just change it to what you want I use number lock pad 4 for binocs and Del for enter.

Ps, Heli is on Del for enter/exit also.

Yes, I know where the options are.. and although you showed the way to change the binocular key binding, there is NOT one to change the "toggle interface" ability once you USE the binoculars. Mine is forever set as "E", which is my move forward key.

Also, yes, I know where the option is to change the helicopter enter/exit key, but it DOES NOT MATTER, because no matter what I change it to, it stays on "E", which is my move forward key.

lately I been seeing players talking about that where normally its either WASD or Arrow keys.

TBH, I have no need to toggle the interface however you are right it's bound to E but a useless feature other than for maybe screen shots.

I just double checked my heli and yes it works on Del to enter / exit.

Ps, verify game files.
