However doing a google search, the only pic of an eagle that shows up, does indeed look more like a vulture, as it does not have a totally white head with a yellow beak, it has a black and white head, and a slight reddish tint to the beak.
Maybe the change in colour is a rendering issue at certain angles, I shall have to have another play soon :p
So basically at the moment, Ive been no help lol.
Pretty sure it's eagles that attack when you get on the higher slopes.
The Eagles in the game are rare and only found in mountainous areas, the Vultures seem to be everywhere for the most part.
