I double checked and re-installed my Nvidia driver update(s)
I double checked and re-installed my Windows 10 update(s)
I verified the Far Cry New Dawn game files on steam
I then restarted my system... And yep it crashed again during the Ethan Mission... #sigh...
On the bonus side at least you'll have another crash report to help you make the game more stable.... Any other idea's you have for me to try?
Unigine Valley Benchmark 1.0
FPS: 88.2
Score: 3689
Min FPS: 39.2
Max FPS: 174.5
Ran fine no issue's for multiple tests (25 minutes worth...
so sorry i cant nail down your error with the little info you posted
my system is
Intel i 5 7600 K @ 4.4 ghz
ASUS Strix Z 270 H gaming motherboard
16 gig of ram ( crucial DDR 4 2400 in dual channel mode )
Gigabyte 6 gig GTX 1060 (windforce 2 model)
samsung evo SSD drive
550 watt 80 + gold rated thermaltake PSU
Win 10 Pro 64 bit
try to exit any un needed backround applications before you load the game
also please see
https://support.ubi.com/en-GB/faqs/000025947/Basic-PC-Troubleshooting/
if you still have an issue please contact Ubisoft Support Directly
you can do so from that above page .. or here
https://twitter.com/UbisoftSupport
https://www.facebook.com/UbisoftSupport
and the main site Support Site here
https://support.ubi.com
and include any crash logs as well as MS info and dx diag files to your support ticket so they can look into it for you
see these two pages
https://support.ubi.com/en-gb/faqs/000021185/
https://support.ubi.com/en-gb/faqs/000021216
those two support pages show you how to do this
it could just simply be a back round task your PC is running why your in the game is causing the crash .. no way to tell without looking at your crash logs
id also suggest a clean install of your GTX 1060 vid drivers and try some older ones .. as the new ones are more optimized for the newer GPU's like the 20 series
(use ddu for best results )
heck i'm still using driver version 388.71 with no problems to report with my GTX 1060
Then try fixing it. Check this guide: https://techcult.com/fix-windows-10-clock-time-wrong/
If you dual boot: https://www.howtogeek.com/323390/how-to-fix-windows-and-linux-showing-different-times-when-dual-booting/
This is what solved it for me. I suspect Windows is causing timestamp errors in the game’s autosave feature.
It's not the game. It's not Ubisoft. It's not Steam. It's Uncle Bill and his minions messing with your head.
I've tried reporting this to Ubisoft but they're impossible to contact.
Hey! Once again thank you for sharing this fix that worked for you.
If you need anything else please let us know.
Thank you.
