WeMod Trainer for this game stopped working and other problems from Ubisoft

The cheats were working just fine and I was having a grand time with a rapid-fire rocket launcher. Then POOF! It was all over. I trouble-shot for like 8 hours yesterday and couldn't get the Mod to work any more. It's broken on this end. I notice this syndrome started when I started to get dual error prompts yesterday from Steam and multiple windows opening from Ubisoft when launching. From Steam I'm still getting "failed to update" error. The Ubisoft error disappeared but Ubisoft had another problem yesterday. Gamers were getting the error prompt "Account accessed from another location" as all Ubisoft games launched. That prompted a flood of tickets from gamers at Ubisoft and they immediately closed their online support chat-only accepting e-mail cases.
And then Ubisoft issued a notice that their site was experiencing a "degeneration error" that they were trying to fix. The Uplay console was opening every time the Steam console opened when opening the game. And a separate window was coming open forcing me to log into my Uplay account every time I launched the game. Now, mysteriously, that has stopped. The Uplay console was staying open. You could still see it even when exiting the game and had to X it out to get rid of it. Now suddenly it isn't showing up when Steam loads. Ubisoft is messed up. This third-party authentication BS has to stop. It's causing problems. If Ubisoft is deliberately trying to block trainers then they can stick their game and I won't ever buy another Ubisoft game. If we want to run a trainer we should be allowed. I notice that Steam has some how blocked even being able to open an in-game console to institute console cheats for this game. No key will work to open the console. Not the tilde key, not any key. It seems they would have better things to do than to spend a lot of time trying to block cheat trainers for people trying to cheat on single player. After all, this game is so extremely difficult even on Easy setting that I found it impossible to complete some missions. I'd fail like 30 times in a row. Gamer critics have noticed that many levels in this game are equally difficult on Easy, Normal and Hard settings. It makes no difference. I was stuck and I wanted to see the rest of the game. So I installed a trainer so I didn't have to quit. And now they're blocking it. They suck for doing this.

Just wanted to add that one of my hands is mostly crippled from a spinal disease. I have a hard time playing these games but I enjoy them and want to play them despite my handicap. The cheats help. It's a horrible and evil business practice for them to have people actively working to block them.

I somehow doubt either Ubisoft or Steam are going to give much of a cráp about compatibility with 3rd party hacks.

line between hacks/trainers and mods is blurry

most of these rules are only enforcable/enforced when games have pvp elements and its used to gain advantage over other players

Most of time such games even tho rules are there they are rarely enforced in coop/singleplayer games unless it would break other people savefiles when you join their games(case in other game)

It suck his tool does not work (i dont think its intentional , updates break stuff)but i dont think valve/ubisoft should and will do something about it

as for "questionable if its cheat or mod" OP could try cheat engine , we used it a lot for borderlands 2 mods (as it required so for long time till people found a way eventualy to properly mod it) even when there were updates most of mods like lootsploder worked in bl2 even after updates

Something goofy with your setup. I just downloaded the cheat and it works for me.
