It was NOT Flagships fault, they talked very openly about that the developement needs 3-6 Months more of beta. It was EA that said "We don't give a F. You release that on THAT ONE DAY and just do as we say". Then they finished MP2.0 the state what they wanted the core game to be and EA said "We don't give a F. You have a nice stable and very supporting community but we want toxic bull like the BF community. We close the game at the end of the year, bye"

You can't blame EA for what Roper & Co pulled back then since EA had only the "Distribution Rights" and was in nothing else then that involved. Everything that was related to the Game that was screwed up can be linked to Roper, Schaefer, Max, Brevik.
You really have to look it up Online then you will understand that it was back the surprising that after playing the first Build of the Game Electronic Arts too didn't gave Flagship Studios the booth as Namco had done back then.
