What Next?
I think it is fair to say that LIS is not going to be connecting the stories at all. I think it's best they don't anyway because having some sort of LIS Avengers would be.... weird haha. However I am curious as to what the next addition will be. I would love to see a story based on two people with powers and in the end the choice is whose side you are on.

There's a lot of potential. I'd also like to see something outside the US, maybe a story in Europe.

Invisibility? Maybe that was the hint in the first 10 minutes of the game when it was talked about with Ethan.

Then again that doesnt sound very fun... But who knows maybe they can work it out somehow

I thought about this before and I'd like to see that, too (:

I have to say I was a little dissapointed there were no more references to the previous games other than the outfits, and a shirt in the record shop (x but I still enjoyed this one a lot and I'm probably going to play through it a few more times to see what the other outcomes are.

I just hope next one will continue the line of having powers rather than what the second one did of being the big brother to someone with powers. It's far more fun to play with when you have powers and can see how they impact the story. I spent a lot of time playing with the time travel power in Life is Strange I'd rewind conversations to see if anything I learned the first time could be used on another go and the different paths conversations could take.

I completely agree, having powers to play around with is fun, and if they are going to make a LiS4 I would want to have powers again. However, I do think LiS2 was interesting because of not having the power and instead, having to deal with the fact that your little brother has the power, and you have to support him and guide him through it. Your actions have influence on Daniel and will change how he acts and thinks. I loved this mechanic, you had a responsibility and that was one of the things that made the game interesting to me.

Maybe, for a potential next game, they could have two people have a power (whether it's the same power or two different ones) and you could have them work together with their powers to solve whatever mystery the game will throw at them/us.

Aside from the previous game's t.shirt and hoodie designs I spotted a couple of references, I found Hot Dog Man in the hospital room in Chapter 5, a Firewalk poster in Steph's record store and on the chalk board during one of the ending montages in the Black Lantern there's an alcohol called "Old Mill Amber" (a reference to Rachel Amber's first on-screen/in-game appearance in BtS at the Old Mill).

At the festival in Stephs DJ booth, there is a "PissHead" poster.
PissHead is the name of Skip Matthews band in BTS

I agree- Although many people had qualms with LiS2 (understandable) I think not having powers was overall pretty good. It not only added to the story lines, by seeing what is was like to be the person on the side of the one with powers. You were also the parenting role, in a sense, to a child with overwhelming power. I think the series wouldn't have been the same if we never got to experience that, and I think LiS2 did a great job at outlining that.

Oh yeah, I found the Firewalk poster as well, the others you mentioned I must have missed. Oh well! It would've been cool to see references to the events of the previous games though. But that's just a minor thing, I enjoyed the game a lot either way!
