EDIT: Checked Meruru as well, and it doesn't look like native 4K either, so out of the 3 games, only Totori is working fine for me... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
THEY CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT!
GLAD THAT'S ALL BEEN CLEARED UP SINCE OP'S POST!
Keep in mind that this is not the original PS3 Rorona, but Vita/PS3 "New Rorona" or "Plus" as it became known here in the west.
So be careful when comparing details with them as they are diferent releases in more ways than one.
Exactly, but we had people pointing out the diference textures in the seat/bench in that screen shot as if that was something taken from the Vita release, while failing to mention that while the textures are diferent, the current one being used is certanly at least 1080p one, while the original PS3 one (and the new plus version as well, according to you) are blurred even on 720p rendering.
Yeah, i honestly think they changed it because it was quite obvious they used the same carpet texture for the bench decor and the carpet itself (and it looks really... bad with both objects in the same scene and same camera shot).
Maybe as they were retouching the game, someone noticed that and decided to change it.
It's blurry on a native PS3 as well, your mileage may vary depending on what TV/Monitor you hook the PS3 to (and on the emulator it looks even worse if you run the game on a res thats above the original game's) but the texture itself is way lower quality by default.
Btw, I am only talking about the carpet in that scene, cause most of the textures are seemly unchanged.
Toggle your desktop screen to 4k and it should show up in the game's config.
Dunno if you can use AA, but if your GPU can handle it, you dont really ever need AA if you can upscale above your default res.
