Thoughts about the game (Spoiler heavy)

I've been chatting with Elena last night and we both had some crazy theories. The game is amazing but left us with many unanswered questions.

My first question is who is THE THREE, is the evil girl is one of them? We still don't know who is this person who's been following Holly and I doubt she is Dalia now.

The mother mentioned a ritual in the last message she left. The developer Dimme mentioned before that the movie 'Rosmary's Baby' inspired him to make this game. I've seen the similarity.

Why would an asylum have a demon statue?

Who is Olivia Harper?

Could everyone be invisible? I mean Holly made something and drink it, then everything has changed, she could either be invisible or dead? What made me think of this theory is the typewriter, someone clearly is typing on it, either a spirit or someone invisible! Also, the evil girl can be seen through the security camera! (And night vision)

I hope the Journalist is not dead and THE THREE are taking care of him, in that place where the girl in the last scene said she will show us it? She said she will show us something, and I wonder what it is.

I've only played the game once, I'm planning to play it again to understand more of the story. Share your thoughts and theories here and hopefully we will get our answers in the extra episode as well as the third game!

I've been reading the typewriter message last night and I've found out that some of the lines belong to Dahlia/SHE and some of the other lines belong to the journalist.

Dahlia/SHE mentions about wasting paper and naming him an idiot.

While the journalist says please please don't leave me help me or something like that.

You could try read that typed paper with both in mind. Dahlia/SHE is writing to him and he writes back.

All of this is super interesting. Do you have any theories about the contiguous rooms in the asylum (Dahlia's and the one chained up)? When you read the note next to the music box, somebody is explaining that there's two little girls and they enjoy the music: Dahlia - I presume - and a dark child.

I found this weird because when you find frozen Igor, he mentions when he is on duty that he beats the "old hag" in the room next to Dahlia's in order to shut her up. Who could this old lady be?

@Miss: the chained room is Dahlia's. If you notice the easter egg, the chains and locks are the same that blocked the basement in episode one, or at least they are arranged the same way.
In dahli's room were living 2 persons, dahlia and the old hag. If you read my theory above, i already tried to explain why she was the only patient with a roommate. The mad guy with the music box had sealed the closet cuz the hole the evil spirit uses to snatch ppl.

Is it possible that Holly is dead? After all she was stabbed. (in the mirror room if I remember correctly)

At the bottom of the Laurius stationry is the the text "Nos Videntium Te" wich is Latin for "We Are Watching You". Who are this "We"??

I was thinking the same Jace! Holly could be dead or.. one of THE THREE?

The one in the middle has long blonde hair. The part of her hair is similar to Holly as well as the length (one side is longer than the other)

My friend pointed out something! After you finish the game, if you wait and look at the main menu screen, you'll find Holly in the back restrained in a chair, screaming!

Holly being dead after the stab makes a whole lot of sense in a certain view angle. Her spirit now lingers until she gets to the other side (the drug inducing reality / the gala).

Yes, I was also looking at the similarity between one of the THREE and Holly. Could it be that, Holly is the only one of them that has merged with the evil spirit within Dahlia?

In some ways, Holly being dead makes sense, but if that is the case, that would kinda feel... I dunno, kinda anticlimactic?

Unless the part with her being stabbed was a hallucination like Holly seemed to think at the end of the cutscene (I don't have the specific journal entry to use offhand).

I really hope she is not dead but brainwashed. In the first game, she mentioned that she doesn't remember many things. What if after their grandparents passed away, they actually took them to the asylum instead to the boarding school she mentioned!

Yes! That's the one, thanks! And it really does feel like the whole series has the "unreliable narrator" thing going on. Even in the first game, Holly's journal entries repeatedly said, "wait, this isn't what I remembered."
