Thoughts about the game (Spoiler heavy)

I've been chatting with Elena last night and we both had some crazy theories. The game is amazing but left us with many unanswered questions.

Share your thoughts here with us and let's discuss what would happen next.

My first question is who is THE THREE, is the evil girl is one of them? We still don't know who is this person who's been following Holly and I doubt she is Dalia now.

The mother mentioned a ritual in the last message she left. The developer Dimme mentioned before that the movie 'Rosmary's Baby' inspired him to make this game. I've seen the similarity.

Why would an asylum have a demon statue?

Who is Olivia Harper?

Could everyone be invisible? I mean Holly made something and drink it, then everything has changed, she could either be invisible or dead? What made me think of this theory is the typewriter, someone clearly is typing on it, either a spirit or someone invisible! Also, the evil girl can be seen through the security camera! (And night vision)

I hope the Journalist is not dead and THE THREE are taking care of him, in that place where the girl in the last scene said she will show us it? She said she will show us something, and I wonder what it is.

I've only played the game once, I'm planning to play it again to understand more of the story. Share your thoughts and theories here and hopefully we will get our answers in the extra episode as well as the third game!

I've recently seen a declassified murder case on TV which featured the Black Dahlia murder. As I was watching the show I immediately saw some connections with our game:

1. Holly's mother's name is Elizabeth. The murder victim in the Black Dahlia case was Elizabeth Short.

2. The murderer's name was George Hodel, a doctor with an IQ above average (186 to be exact), was considered a genius and had a perversion on killing / torturing women. This doctor reminded me of Christopher Smith.

3. A suspect, Leslie Dillon, knew too much about the murder, but the police didn't arrest him for lack of evidence. It seems that he had drugged the victim and placed her in a motel to become prostitute. He and Hodel worked close in the prostitute business. He reminded me of Charles Laudius.

4. Elizabeth Short, the murder victim, was last seem on the 9th of January only to appear on the 15th of January dumped in a park with her body masacrated. I found this think grewsome and interesting. Perhaps that's why SHE is described as being "torn from inside out."

5. I don't know why the journalists dubbed it the Black Dahlia murder, but it helped me point it to the Dark Dahlia figurine in TF1.

That's kind of all. I will get back hete if I remember anything else.

Well, I'm disappointed to wake up and find out that the release of a TF3 demo coming up was just a dream.

I don't think we know 100% for sure. That's part of the whole "purposely making the timeline confusing as part of her incorrect memories and possible time travel and/or dimension hopping" thing that's going on.

I think holly is born in 1983. 1983 to 2021. That means she is 37 or 38. Do you agree ? I like to see what your opinion is.

I think all three games are supposed to take place in 2014, when the first game was originally released on Big Fish Games (if you remember the intro to the second game, it picks up within a few days of the end of the first game), so maybe not quite that old.

I agree she was probably born 1983/1984. Based on the notes in the game, the past events at the hospital (the massacre and fire), and the mom's death, took place in 1994, when Holly was 10/11. Holly also said in the beginning of the first game, and in some of the collector's action figures notes, that she hadn't seen Heather in a decade (after they'd been raised by their grandparents for a few years after the mom's death). So, if the modern parts take place in 2014, I'm guessing she's in her early 30s.

Holly looks as a 30-40 years old woman. That's what I've assumed from the very beginning. I haven't thought of questioning her age since she appears as such, but who knows? Age and appearance sometimes don't match.

Yeah, I think that's more of an animation issue than an issue with the purposeful inconsistencies in the plot.
