tips for speeding things up?
finished my first spring and i seem to have plateaued. take a week to farm enough plants to make a good supply of potions, then sell them for 2-4k. also doing town missions on the side, so i expect about 16k profits at the end of the month/season.

i expected there to be a lot of new plants to find each season, but nothing seems to have changed. i can't imagine just grinding this same month over and over for the rest of the achievements. (namely that 1,000,000 one, which i figure i should get first, THEN buy all the properties with that money. but my god. that'd take AT LEAST 12 in-game years... what kind of monster has that kind of patience?!)

there's gotta be something i'm missing for speeding up income. the max bonus i get on the average sale is 19%, is there a way to get that higher? it hasn't gone up in response to more furniture for a while now, (i have now realized that decoration does nothing for profits, but having both a plant and a resource for sale to increase the variety does) i keep my house repaired, and i have max customer satisfaction most of the time. (of course it goes down when people ask for potions that require poison or ether, which i basically never have. wish i could just put a sign on the door saying i don't sell those, cuz i regret discovering those potions now)

in general the game seems really unbalanced monetarily. the customization stuff is very expensive, and since you have to buy each piece of floor/fence individually and can't even sell them back, getting anything nice takes a really long time, and during that time, the gameplay doesn't change enough to keep it fun... it just becomes a grind. (i thought maybe i could save money by making my own furniture, but the stamina cost/resource requirements/tool degredation are also too high)

it feels like the prices for things, money and stamina, are too 'realistic', which makes it un-fun. running my shop feels as draining as running one in real life, but it's a game, so it should be way easier, so it can be relaxed and fun.

i'm hoping i'm just missing something cuz i'd like to at least finish out the year, and get the achievements, but i can't enjoy the decorating because i'm trying to save for that 1mill achievement, which is WAY too freaking far off. 100k would be a much more reasonable, but still probably too-high-for-me-if-the-gameplay-doesn't-get-enhanced-somehow sum.

i just did a test and the stone hoe is actually more cost effective than the iron hoe, which is a bit backwards. yes you get 4x as many uses out of the iron hoe before it breaks, but 4 stone hoes are actually cheaper than the one iron hoe by 50 coins- almost enough to buy a fifth stone hoe.

according to the coin value attached to resources, it is of course way cheaper to make your own tools. but the cost to HARVEST those resources, in stamina... it can take about 40 stamina to make a single hoe, and if you instead used the same amount of stamina to pick (common) plants, you could sell them for 320 coins, without even turning them into potions first. if you turned them into basic 3-of-a-kind potions, it turns into 1k coins. so spending time gathering the resources and crafting your own tools winds up costing you considerably MORE than just buying them.

it just seems weird to me that it's this difficult to turn a decent profit in this game. it LOOKS like it should be way easier, more casual and relaxing, but instead i feel i have to dive deep into the economy of it and min-max like i never have before.

+1
you`re ALWAYS short of toxic+ether (high price potions).
to get more of toxic+ether > FARM everyday the WHOLE map for 1 year......
.....so did I
> then you should have enough "basic" material to reproduce them in your garden (actually 1 plant = 1 seed)

it`s on the wishlist that they act like normal plants (1 plant = 1-2 seeds)
regards

PS: I have the 1M-Achievement, it took about 50hours....
1) just make sure to have @ least 20-40 of every potion, the expensive ones I had 50-100 of each.
2) renovate your house completely > prices will raise 20%+
3) did make up to 80`000 $ a day profit
