Aplication error?

application error 0xc0000005 pops up every time i try to play.

i already tried changing to windows xp sp3 but i am currently reinstalling this game to see if that helps, if anyone has a fix please share....

system specs:

Use Administrator mode on windows xp sp3, worked for me, and for alot of friends too.

hmpp looks kind of strange, I suggest you to google SupCom 1 win7 application error, or things like that, you should find the solution, sorry if I can't help anymore, I just help with what I know and have worked for me, good luck.

i tried that but i may look around some more and try fixes to errors that where different to my one just in case, i will post if i find a fix

Same here, the game will not start.

I'm running Vista, 4gb ram with a AMD Phenom 955 and Radeon 5670 videocard. I'm pretty bummed out about this. I restarted my computer and steam several times, it still crashes immediatly on start up.

i bought forged alliance and i will try that too. Do all the people with application errors only have AMD proccessors, that may be part of the problem

Yeah, it might, the game is desgined mostly for NVidia, it may cause some trouble. Well, off to play som '07 RuneScape, post if you have any news ^^

Go to your SupCom directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Supreme Commander and open a folder named "bin" there you should find Supcom.exe or something like that, right click then run as administrator

It is running now, wow what a game. Got it running via Windows XP sp2 + run as Administrator.
