Supreme Commander

Supreme Commander

Getting game to run on Windows 11.
Hi, I picked the game up in the winter sale for a nostalgia blast, but I can't get it to run? When I launch the game, it alters the resolution (fair enough), then crashes to the GPG error reporting box. I've tried deleting Gas Powered Games folder from my AppData folder, as that's the only solution I could see online, but to no avail.

Anyone got any better ideas?

ya the steam version is broken even if you have the original disk it is broken but i recently bought the game on gog and all the problems is gon and working https://www.gog.com/en/game/supreme_commander_gold_edition
Why're you running old games on a current version of the OS?
Have you tried running in compatibility mode?
In other sentiments, I dislike the requirement to run the 'software' from steam through steam.
what system specs and windows 11 version?

Does yours stutter? Skip? While yes, the game launches, and you can play it... Does yours do those things? If not, how did you fix those issues?
mine just ran; didn't really have to do anything. could be anything from issues with the gpu being unable to play something this old, to some obscure "here be dragons" technical issue.
