Dead island 2 wins the competition for the worst set of main characters

We have three 'strong' women to choose from, strong in the eyes of 5 year old children and woke feminists - too self-confident, having no emotions other than selfishness, expressing their imaginary strength with ugly tattoos and a '♥♥♥♥ you all' attitude towards the world. if goal was to create three of the ugliest women in gaming, goal was achieved.
among the guys, we can choose from two clown ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ criminals covered with tattoos. no thanks. the third one seems normal, but hes also a fraud. wow, what a choice, eh? i think the saying about choosing the least evil applies here.

its funny that people used to complain about the characters from the original dead island many years ago, and yet everyone there, despite their flaws and plot shortcomings, was likable, and its impossible to like anyone here.

overall this game is the definition of a sentence - tell me your game is woke without telling me your game is woke.

In the first game we got 2 attractive women who can use either a blade or a gun but this new one is woke. Also not weapon specialization in 2 unlike 1.

impossible to like eh? well.. idk about that, i enjoy my playthrough with Carla, and sometimes chuckle with her banter. She doesn't take things too seriously, which i think is a must to go on, when the world is ending lol.

visually, i think the males are ok. the females are not really appealing, but not ugly either, they are presentable. and more grounded, i mean having a perfect doll running around in zombie apocalypse sounds more ludicrous to me...

i don't see you owning the game tho, it's an irony that either you own the game at epic, or pirate it, and then complains about it in steam forum.

I noticed this too, but I'm certain it was to save money on voice acting so that any character could be spoken to without needing to record individual takes based on pronouns.

amy is very PRO team being an athelete (very high spirited, and happy-go-lucky). Dani is playfully vulgar (the kind of gal you take to adult parties), carla comes off to me as "Indifferent".

I talked to a guy who was in the military he was f****** baffled that such a weak girl with a f****** plastic leg somehow is able to not only survive in the in the zombie apocalypse.

but for example cave in a Zombie Head with the plastic leg???? once again need to emphasize.

I finished the game with Amy and she was "okay" I think her being a f****** crippled and somehow able to survive is stupid! and I hate in all the frames where her legs is in view? for example in a drop kick.

it emphasizes her f****** plastic leg! which looks ridiculous!!!! I could snap it in half with one hand.

but it's somehow able to survive all of this without snapping and not only that but cave in zombie heads when you stomp on them.

and by the way comparing a s***** game with s***** characters to another s***** game with s***** characters doesn't mean the other one is not s***.

they are both s***, don't defend s***, defend something that is of value.

The question is why are you getting so angry over a game that's just a power fantasy because it has somebody with a plastic leg? There's no pretence from this game that it presents anything that's realistic.
