If they would be just somewhere far in the Background it would not be that noticeable, but there are multiple Mirrors in just one house alone.
But i have to say, its kinda funny to compare the actual Room with how the nearest Mirror displays the "..Reflection..".
In one Room there was a Bed, with a little Blood on it. In the Mirror tho, instead of the Bed, there was a huuuuge puddle of Blood and no Bed, like someone had some sort of Party, spilling Blood all over the Place.
What happened is basicly, that in the Mirror Furniture and Textures of the Wall and Floor had merged with the Blood Texture.
Good old classic Horror-Movies.
Games from 20 years ago had working mirrors. Anyone remember Doom 3?

That Video,.. XD ... can it be that the Developers of *Dead Island 2* where simply still haunted by that Scene and this is the reason why they gave their Characters no reflection?
:P
But in *Dead Islands 2* case, they are "..broken.." in 2 weird ways:
- Not showing Character Reflections
- They do Reflect; Destortion of reflected Furnitures, Walls, Floors and Ceilings
Do the Mirror's in RoboCop reflect and Deform the Furniture too? XD
"We dont burn, we are sparkling!"
:P
