No Wood?? Lumber yard is full
It's being odd where my people see the wood but if it's in the lumber yard there's no wood to use?

Could the game use some haulers or something for early game to check each building and get it where it really needs to go?

stockpile full but structures say no wood? Tool maker and charcoal maker are both close to the town center and buildings much further away say they have access to this wood and are getting built but somehow there's no wood now?

I think we will need some screenshots with info boxes showing to help out here. :)

So what was happening was that the woodcutters were saying 100% full on their storage yet they were not emptying it out at all. It's odd that it suggested that a location is nearing capacity when i've got 20 buildings waiting to be built? they aren't shifting jobs between getting wood and delivering wood (this seems to be all on the builders who don't see this wood when i tell them to build something)

While i can support a game with a lot of moving parts, it's a little too complicated and it seems the coding is falling apart in places until some update check comes along to figure out if things are there. Highly suggest remove the whole local storage and just count the units of storage into the town supply total (this means local supply just buffers the amount of X that can be stored)

While this would mean all collected items teleport from the production to the town storage areas, it would mean a lot less code issue overall, stronghold was a little less complicated but overall did well with a much older system where yes they did deliver them to the storage of each.

Now my biggest issue is that it requires randoms to eliminate radiation yet i have these decon buildings that are seemingly broken and can't decon the ground as well. This game does have it's quirks but overall it feels they reached too far and the framework is falling out beneath them as they rush to try offer more content without making everything stable or streamlined to aid not just the user but also the programmers later on.

I now also have 74 people who say they require clothing yet already have protective clothing and yet still are saying they need such? this information given is redundant yet also ambiguous as not only is there already such on them but they seemingly do not detect their own clothing? I'm at odds and as stated feel this game has too many holes they need to fix. It will be nice to play again once it's a bit more fixed.

Wait.. what? this game is broken? when did this happen?

I guess i'll have to start again when they fix it!! ;)

I'm sorry.. people need to try and forget other games when they play this.. whilst similar to 3-4 other games.. the mechanics play very differently.

Once the mechanics are learnt.. the below is possible.. some peeps have hit 6.8k pop.. myself 5.6k is my best.. the below screenshot shows about 2.5k whilst messing around with friends showing them how to play.

Play the tutorial.. ask how the mechanics work.. use the help discord.. many many peeps willing to help...

Please take this in jest.. and have fun with the game in it's current state.. yes it's early access and feedback helps to fine tune things.. but to bag it without knowing how the game works.. (less than 10hrs on record) will always draw these responses.

Hope you change your mind.. it really is a great game if you give it an honest go. ;)

The Forester's Lodge says it's full, or do you mean your Town Center saying it's full or almost full? There's a huge difference, since you will need some free settlers to move resources around, while only builders will supply buildings with resources stored in the storage buildings.

Decontamination Posts will only remove radiation in storage buildings in it's range - for example a warehouse. It is not for removing ground radiation. If you want to remove ground radiation, you need to use an Irrigation Plant.

Have you denied the clothes in the Town Center?

I've had this problem before and found it was due to there being insuffient available labor. Effectively, the wood cutters were done doing their job and there were too few truck drivers to move the goods from the factory to the warehouse.

I have the exact same problem i can't get past 50-60 settlers because of this.

I have 3 logging camps, all at full capacity, 5 unassigned labourers, 10 people in a market with 2 of the camps in the area and yet my entire population dies out because the builders can't build the houses because there's not enough wood.

There's over 500 wood thats 'allocated' but nothing is happening with it. My entire economy keeps crumbling on the first 4 playthroughs i tried purely because the wood isn't moving where it needs to.

The charcoal can't produces so i can't de-radiate, store enough water in the water tower.

It's so frustrating gonna give up on the game and wait a few months I think, because this is just crippling me, i have 15 buildings waiting to build when the only thing they need is wood which is there but not being used.

You build a market for 50-60 settlers? That's way too less. A market should be used as a way of distribution for needed resources for many settlers - as a central of your town or expansion. A market is at first not for storing stuff, you'd need storagerooms for this.
And how far is everything apart in your city? When the settlers have long ways to walk, you'll need much more than 5 people relocating everything that you need.

Everything is right next to each other, everything is in range of the market - I built the market to try and sovle the problem of them not collecting wood.

2 of the 3 lumber mills were a bit out of the way, so the gathering circle that's on top of the building isn't in range of other buildings

for only 50-60 settlers.. you only need 1-2 max lumber yards.. remove the furthest away.... your queues are clogged up due to travelling..

Only place 2 max in the market or pause the market. You really only need min-med jobs filled this early.. And remember.. nothing is immediate.. it takes several seasons for things to move..

Cancel all buildings that need to be built to clear the queue.. then build slowly.. once the wood moves to storage.. try not to build more than 2 buildings at a time until you work out the mechanics then only 4/5 max.

The game has changed.. it's not a speedrun now (or it is less of a speedrun now). You'll see with more free settlers that your wood will start to move after about 5 or so seasons as it catches up.

You shouldn't need the market until your pop reaches around 150ish and your ready to expand.

hope this helps.. :)

PS: you can stack the working radius' on top of each other for the wood/scrap etc so your pop do not have to travel too far and have your foresters right next to each other early on back in town.

Also remember move most free settlers to builders early in the game.. try to keep 2-5 settler until you get to 100 pop then 5+.. the rest as builders.. don't worry.. if your builders have no tasks they will revert to normal settler duties.. but always keep a min of 5 settlers to cover deaths etc after you reach 100 pop and increase as your pop increases.
